Who We Are

Our consortium namely Taxplan Consulting Limited, Alekim & Associates and Batian Registrars are separate legal entities, operating interdependently supplementing each other. The separation however is through creating ‘Chinese Walls’ necessary to ensure operational independency in complying with the governing laws and regulations.

 

Clients choose to work with us because our service approach emphasizes on relationship.  We endeavour to understand the business of our client and the industry in which they operate. This enables us to give quality and timely service as required.

We provide efficient and superior quality service by approaching consultancy assignments with concern for practical solutions tailored to meet each organization’s specific circumstances.  These assignments are undertaken by qualified personnel who offer experience, objectivity and technical expertise.  These qualities coupled with dedication; result in the distinctive services which we offer. Some of the services we provide are Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Accountancy, Tax consultancy, Business Valuation, Company Secretarial Services, Training, Information Systems Audit, Management Consultancy Services, Human Resource Management, and Information Communication Technology Services among others.

We have two full time partners and adequate staff to help maintain continuity to our service team. The composition of the firms’ personnel enables the partners to continually enhance the skills of the professionals specially selected based on competence and experience.

The approach to each assignment is governed largely by the nature and size of the clients’ activities, the task to be accomplished, the deadlines to be met and the extent to which the client staff can participate in the assignment. To ensure that we provide quality services, the firm’s methodology of work comprises of proper work plan, risk assessment, use of analytical reviews, co-ordination and constant communication with management. We strive to ensure compliance to relevant regulations and quality assurance programs.

 

The Team

Felix K. Kimoli – Managing Partner/Director


Mr. Felix Kimoli is a holder of Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM, Finance option), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), a Certified Secretary (CS), and a member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS).
He is founder and Managing Director of Taxplan Consulting Limited – registered on 14th August 2003, vision bearer, founder, and Partner in both Batian Registrars LLP (CSs) – registered on 20th August 2007 and MGI Alekim LLP – registered on 12th March 2012.
Felix had gained invaluable experience in the field of finance and Business Advisory having worked with various distinct audit firms for a period of 20 years prior to plugging into private practice in January 2005.

Evelyne Kayume Julius - Director


M/S Evelyne is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
She holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Moi University.
Evelyne is a director of Taxplan Consulting Limited – registered on 14th August 2003, a Partner in Batian Registrars LLP (CSs) – registered on 20th August 2007, and Technical Partner in MGI Alekim LLP – registered on 12th March 2012.
As a Technical Partner, CPA Evelyne Kayume is the engagement partner who oversees the entire audit function. She has managed various audits ranging from statutory audits, forensic investigations/audits, inventory audits, project and special purpose audits, across various entities; commercial, manufacturing, construction, distribution, hospitality, commission agents, health facilities, learning institutions, real estate, professional firms, faith based and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) among others.

Anne W. Kanyi – General Manager


Anne holds a diploma in Business Administration and a diploma in Human Resource Management. a She is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM). She brings on board a wide experience in her field spanning over 15 years. She has worked in various organizations, rising from the position of a secretary to Admin/Human resource manager.

Attracting and retaining the right personnel is every organization’s indispensable intention. Anne seeks to maintain human resource relations by narrowing our scope to the best skills, knowledge, and attributes to ensure we secure and retain the very best. She integrates a high-performance culture in her environment by ensuring highly motivated personnel and conducive work environment. She optimizes our growth by pursuing potential business leads and keeping a constant tap on our clients.

Jenifer Kamuti – Manager - Accounts


Jenifer is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has a wide experience in Auditing, Taxation, Accountancy and Management consultancy. She has been in external audit since 2009

Gideon Kiplangat Cheruiyot – Supervisor - Business Outsourcing


Gideon is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having cleared his final examination on the course and a degree holder in Bachelor of Business Management from Kenya Highlands Evangelical University. He has a wide experience in Auditing, Taxation, Accountancy and Management consultancy. He has been in external audit since 2014

Caroline Njeri Mahuro – Semi-Senior - Tax Advisory


Caroline is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having cleared her final examination on the course. She is gaining experience in Auditing, Taxation, Accountancy and Management consultancy.

Alex M Kyalo- ICT Systems Administrator


Alex has experience in Python, java, PHP, HTML and android development. He has a background in B.Tech ICT and enjoys participating in projects that require him to work outside his knowledge and skill set. Besides software, he possesses excellent skills in hardware maintenance,network troubleshooting, social media marketing and Search Engine Optimization.
